New Board of Directors at CREW Montréal
Women are increasingly present in the commercial real estate field

Montréal, January 27, 2012 – The Montréal chapter of CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women), the association that promotes, supports and recognizes women’s success in the commercial real estate field, elected a new Board of Directors at its Annual General Meeting. At a time of when the commercial real estate market is experiencing some recovery, women have a greater presence than ever. This is excellent news for CREW Montréal, which will be celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2013.

Here are the new members of the 2012 CREW Montréal Board of Directors:

“We are starting 2012 with an extremely full activities program and the newly installed Board of Directors certainly has the ability to continue ensuring our association’s growth and influence,” said Nathalie Bédard, outgoing Chair of CREW Montréal. “With its new image launched last year, CREW Montréal intends to pursue its efforts to promote women’s achievements in the commercial real estate sector and is relying in particular on its new mentoring program to support women in their career development.”

WINNERS OF THE 2011 EXCELLENCE AWARDS ANNOUCED

In order to recognize excellence of women in commercial real estate, CREW Mtl unveiled on November 22, during a festive evening, the winners of the 2011 Excellence Awards that have distinguished themselves through their leadership, achievement and their commitment.

Excellence Award

The prize was awarded to Natalie Voland, President of the Complex Dompark, Lachine Canal, a woman of experience working in the commercial real estate industry that stood out for her qualities of leadership, accomplishments and commitment to her business, industry and the community at large.

Rising Star Award

Awarded to a woman with less than ten years experience in commercial real estate and earned recognition for her initiative in her work and within the industry, this award was given to Valerie Bouchard, property manager Ivanhoe Cambridge.

CREW Mtl Involvement Award

In recognition of her support for the association through her leadership, involvement and commitment to members and her contribution to promoting the advancement of women in commercial real estate. This award was presented to Michèle Boutet, Senior Vice President at CB Richard Ellis.

What's New ?

A new brand image for crew Montreal

The new logotype of CREW Montreal chapter was unveiled with great fanfare at the group’s annual golf tournament, which attracted more than 160 people to the Fontainebleau Golf Club. Gauthier Designers was the agency engaged to update the image of CREW Montréal, an association promoting the success of women in commercial real estate. The result is a more modern image reflecting its members’ dynamism and professionalism more effectively.
