The Montréal chapter of CREW Network (Commercial Real Estate Women) celebrates its 8th year and already, the statistics speak for themselves: CREW Montréal has reached a peak in its membership in 2009 with 155 members – and 2010 promises to continue on this trend. Its membership is diversified and represents every discipline in commercial real estate. CREW Montréal’s mission is to promote the success of women in commercial real estate. We achieve this through different means : - Events and conferences with renowned speakers
- Networking events for members only
- Quality education seminars recognized by certain professional associations for continuous education credits
- Visibility for our members in various industry publications and events
- Promotion of our members with leaders and associations of the commercial real estate industry
Through its affiliation with the north American CREW Network, our chapter benefits from visibility beyond our borders. Our members can attend the annual convention and bi-annual council meetings and meet some of the 8000 members of the 71 chapters of the network, representing all major markets in the United States and the 5 Canadian chapters: Toronto, Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver and Montréal. CREW Montréal strives to reach the goals established in the 2008 strategic planning session. 2010 will be the second implementation year for this strategy, which seeks to reach the following goals: - Referral of business opportunities between members of CREW Montréal
- Assistance to CREW Montréal members in advancing their careers.
