Word of the President 2008   Welcome to CREW Montreal as we celebrate our 5th year! The Montreal Chapter of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Network, founded in 2003, now has more than 150 professionals from all aspects of the commercial real estate industry. We strive to be the premier commercial real estate organization providing our members with quality networking and educational events while promoting new business opportunities.  CREW Network, which has over 65 chapters and nearly 8,000 members in the United States and Canada, continues to be a catalyst for change in commercial real estate by achieving parity for women in opportunity, influence and power. As we celebrate our 5th anniversary, my focus as president will be on making connections – connections between CREW members and connections to the industry at large. This year CREW Montreal will be working even harder to provide our membership with these connections via networking and business opportunities, personal recognition, and opportunities to form strategic alliances. Our goal is to promote participation by presenting our members, sponsors, and supporters with valuable opportunities to create business partnerships. It is a personal honour to be affiliated with the calibre of professionals that constitute our membership, to work with the dedicated leaders on our Board and to collaborate with the many active committee members.
